Beautiful people,

I wanted to take a moment to hop on here amidst all the busy planning and university life that I’m going through. I have so many things ahead of me that I felt the urge to document my thoughts and feelings. I realized I often come here when something bad happens, but truthfully, as hectic as life can be, I am genuinely grateful.

I don’t know who reads this, but dude I can’t thank God enough for the people I have in my life. I always think to myself how do people manage to not want the best for others? To be honest, I wouldn’t say I have even have enemies, or at least that I know of. I actually find it funny haha. What I can say is that every person I’ve ever met has received the best parts of me. Huge shoutout to my best friend, Aphiwe, if you ever see this, thank you for being my person – love you loads xx

I know I’m not a perfect human being, but being loved and loving MYSELF feels good. And you know what? I’m really proud of myself too. Like look at what I’ve done, look at what I’m going to do. I mean, the best parts of my life are still ahead of me, but being where I am right now, I just want to say thank you, Jesus. Thank you for giving me the strength and courage to persevere every single day and to do things to the best of my ability. There’s always room for improvement, and there’s always room to learn. I can’t wait for all of those learning curves.

I’m excited to help more people through the gift that God has given me. I don’t know where I would be without Jesus, and it feels so good not to worry about others and just focus on myself. Giving yourself the attention, love, and care you need is the best type of healing. Every day, we are healing. Some people come into our lives for just a chapter, and even in an end, there’s always a beginning. Always remember that.

Oh, and I’ll be posting some poetry soon, I promise. To whoever comes across this, know that you are capable of anything you put your mind to.
