I choose to believe.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things we can’t see. It is in the waiting – sometimes the quiet times; when we think God is not listening, that is exactly the time He is working behind the scenes.

He is one for a good story. If there is one thing I know, is that God does things with a bang, He doesn’t go out without making some sort of scene.

Sometimes we think that He is being cruel, however, it is the opposite. For a while now I have been complaining instead of being appreciative. I got tired of the trials and tribulations that I couldn’t really see what God is doing.

Today, someone very special to me made me realize that I need to get out of my own head. In fact, it is because of him that I’m writing this post. I’m stressing about things I can’t control. All I can do is wait. I need to have faith.

I choose to believe.

I choose to believe in Jesus and His promises.

No matter what we have the chance to redeem ourselves, we have an opportunity of having a seat by His table – that is why Jesus died for us.

And today, of all days, I can’t help but have the feeling that things are going to change. Not just for me but for others too, others like me.

It is coming, exactly what He has been preparing us for.

“It is written” – Matthew 4:4
