Your marks don’t define you.

Today, I wrote an exam and it didn’t go well. I know my mark won’t be good either. And you know what? That’s okay.

I need you to do something for me. Put hope in your victories and your mistakes.

That’s what makes you, YOU. Despite whether you worked hard or not. Life happens and a piece of paper does dictate who you are.

So, I accepted the fact that I did not do too well. But that is not going to stop me – it just motivates me to work even harder.

When I finished the exam paper, I noticed something on the class wall and it said “Failure is not doing bad, failing is not getting back up again”.

That hit me. Not just in a test but in life. We live in a fast-paced world but we need to find the pace of Grace.

It doesn’t matter if you’re not as organized as your friends. You will get there. When we set a goal – it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. And in life, there’s ups and downs.

And today, I’m thankful for both of them.

“For a just man falls seven times and rises up again.”
Proverbs 24:16
